Ms. Buckley has more than 17 years of experience in program management, marketing, and communications. She has worked across several industries, and at all levels of organizations, to convene and motivate teams to achieve aggressive goals.

At Reingold, Ms. Buckley is the project director for the National Assessment Governing Board outreach and dissemination campaign. She oversees a large team that supports the board’s ongoing strategic planning, traditional and social media relations, stakeholder outreach, strategic partnerships, and congressional briefings. To elevate all aspects of the Governing Board’s work and continuously strengthen the relevance and use of the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) findings, Ms. Buckley has developed and executed presentations at each of the Governing Board’s quarterly meetings, highlighting release results and successes to date, and offering recommendations for future engagement areas and outreach tactics.

Ms. Buckley also leads Reingold’s work in promoting the findings of NAEP, also known as The Nation’s Report Card. She develops innovative outreach strategies to leverage the influence of advocates and champions. Her outreach and events tailored to policymakers and education stakeholders have raised awareness of the report card’s significance, spurring growing online exposure and interactive discussion through websites, blogs, and social media. And using groundbreaking media relations tactics, such as webinars that bring press events directly to busy reporters who no longer have the luxury of covering just one beat, Ms. Buckley has helped the campaign earn tens of millions of media impressions through outlets including ABC’s “World News with Diane Sawyer,” the Associated Press, The Washington Post, and The New York Times.

Ms. Buckley also provides strategic direction and oversight on behalf of the Governing Board’s NAEP 12th Grade Preparedness Commission, assisting in the final outreach plan of the cross-country Commission event series to engage stakeholders in conversation about measuring and improving the academic preparedness of 12th grade students in the United States.

Previously, Ms. Buckley worked at Varsity Group, where she led the launch of a new business model, an e-commerce solution serving educational institutions and their students. The business became the industry leader, propelled by Ms. Buckley’s marketing campaigns, program management initiatives, and comprehensive approach to customer service. While at Varsity Group, Ms. Buckley also managed an innovative grassroots marketing program on more than 100 college campuses across the country, working directly with marketing executives at such companies as Ben & Jerry’s, Staples, and Papa John’s. In addition, Ms. Buckley served in the Office of the Secretary at the U.S. Department of Education and as deputy director of Presidential Personnel in the White House.

Ms. Buckley graduated with a bachelor’s degree in economics from Boston College and earned a Master of Business Administration from the Darden Business School at the University of Virginia.
