She ensures that Reingold's written products not only meet the highest standards of quality and accuracy but also achieve consistency in style, tone, and content, tailoring each one to the needs and preferences of the target audience.

Barbara writes and edits content for websites, brochures, newsletters, and annual reports for virtually all of Reingold's clients. She has written website copy for the Virginia Community College System and Tower Oaks Surgery Center, handbooks for the Montgomery County Volunteer Center and Fairfax County Public Schools, brochures for the Montgomery County Department of Solid Waste Services and the Special Love camp for children with cancer, fact sheets for the Washington Area Housing Partnership and National Council for Interior Design Qualification, and annual reports for The George Washington University and D.C. Barbara gained much of her experience as a policy analyst and program director with the National Governors Association Center for Best Practices, where for more than 10 years she produced informational materials on groundbreaking issues for governors and their top advisors. Her background runs the gamut of environmental, transportation, and energy topics, including climate change, sustainable development, and community revitalization. Barbara also led the smart growth program at the Northeast-Midwest Institute, the policy arm of a regional coalition of U.S. Senators and Representatives, where she collaborated with both congressional staff and state officials.

As a freelance writer, Barbara sharpened and expanded her writing skills, producing feature articles, campaign materials, and reports for a variety of clients—including the Smithsonian Institution's in-house newspaper, The Torch.

Barbara has a bachelor's degree in political science from Colgate University.
