With more than 25 years of experience in the public policy arena, Ms. Wells blends a capacity for analysis and grasp of the issues with a talent for honing a clear, compelling message. She has written annual reports, feature articles, website content, brochures, op-eds, media releases, and conference materials for a wide array of audiences, from governors to community activists.

At Reingold, Ms. Wells provides editorial oversight for all written products, working with project directors and writers to define the audience, purpose, messaging, content, and structure for each piece. She is also a key contributor to overarching messaging frameworks and communications strategies for Reingold clients.

Ms. Wells has contributed to, written, and edited materials and websites for a variety of clients including the U.S. Administration on Aging, The George Washington University, American Society of Plastic Surgeons, Anacostia Watershed Restoration Partnership, and American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. Most recently, she has played a key role in developing and implementing Reingold's campaigns on behalf of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs to end Veteran homelessness, prevent suicide, and overcome stigma associated with mental health challenges. She also provides editorial support for the National Assessment Governing Board's public awareness and outreach campaign to promote the value and application of The Nation's Report Card results.

Ms. Wells previously was a policy analyst and program director with the National Governors Association Center for Best Practices for more than 10 years, writing reports, newsletters, and conference materials on groundbreaking issues for governors and their top advisors. Her background runs the gamut of environmental, transportation, and energy topics, most recently focusing on sustainable development and community revitalization. Ms. Wells also led the smart growth program at the Northeast-Midwest Institute, the policy arm of a regional coalition of U.S. Senators and Representatives, where she collaborated with both congressional staff and state officials.

Ms. Wells has a bachelor's degree in political science from Colgate University.
