Janet Reingold

Founder

Janet Reingold left the government to found the Reingold firm in 1985. Right from the start, she attracted a roster of consequential blue-chip clients by offering strategic guidance and forging purposeful partnerships in the public, private, and independent sectors.

Janet has written for four presidents of the United States, vice presidents, governors, and cabinet secretaries, as well as congressional, corporate, university, and philanthropic leaders. She has crafted their messages and helped shape underlying policies in education and youth development, workforce quality and the new economy, health care, aging, the environment, community service, and other social policy issues—regionally, nationally, and internationally.

Janet founded a private-sector firm with a public-service soul, able to attract top talent and creative thought leaders with the vision and freedom to advance new ideas, capture new markets, and influence public opinion.

Today, Janet retains her relationship with the firm and its clients. She is active in numerous causes, including improving child health and welfare in the Bahamas, enhancing agriculture and eliminating poverty in the developing world, and promoting historic preservation on the coast of Maine. She also chairs a topical luncheon series featuring world-class speakers. Janet has a master's degree in public administration from the American University and a bachelor's degree from Washington University. She is a member of the Cosmos Club.
