Two Major Contracts Expand Reingold's Education and Aging Work

Reingold recently won two federal contracts that leverage—and will expand—our deep experience in advancing educational excellence and promoting services for aging Americans.

The National Assessment Governing Board awarded Reingold and our subcontractor, Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide, a contract valued at $600,000 per year to raise awareness of the Nation's Report Card—the only nationally representative and continuing assessment of what America's students know and can do in various subject areas. At a time when measuring and improving student achievement has never been more vital to the health of our communities and the U.S. economy, Reingold will convey the Nation's Report Card's key findings to educators, policy makers, and the public through online outreach, materials development, special events, and more.

Reingold also won a $200,000 contract from the U.S. Administration on Aging to provide an array of communications services along with our subcontractor, DJA & Associates. As the baby boomer generation ages and life expectancy continues to increase, the ranks of the elderly are reaching unprecedented numbers—while the national debate over healthcare reform is bringing issues of aging to the fore. Reingold will work with AoA to use this intensified focus on aging to foster new awareness and understanding of the agency's resources, partnerships, and strategies to improve the lives of older Americans.
