New Reingold Contract to Boost Transformation of Memphis Public Schools
In a nod to Reingold's deep knowledge of the education sector and decades of experience in strategic communications and change management, Memphis City Schools awarded our firm a major new contract to earn community buy-in for the city's transformation of K–12 education—and especially its Teacher Effectiveness Initiative—built on recruiting and retaining the best-qualified teachers.
"We're thrilled to join this landmark effort to deliver quality education to every Memphis student, made possible in part through a $90 million grant from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation," said Amy Buckley, a Reingold vice president and education specialist. "As we've seen throughout the United States and right here in Washington, sustaining education reform demands building community trust, commitment, and engagement. That's what we do."
Together with our partners, Red Deluxe Brand Management and Trust Marketing of Memphis, Reingold will produce a thought-leadership platform that aligns the ambitious vision of Memphis City Schools with the aspirations—and concerns—of teachers, parents, students, and the community. Through focused and strategic communications programs, media relations, research-based messaging, and a dynamic dialogue, we will work with MCS to not only share exciting developments and results, but also actively enlist all stakeholders as participants in an educational revolution.
