Challenge
When DuPont Fabros entered the Charlottesville, Virginia, housing
market with two distinctive condominium properties, the company needed
an advertising campaign to showcase their unique blend of amenities and
strategic, targeted outreach to their most receptive audiences.

Reingold managed the Dupont Fabros advertising campaign for Walker
Square, a downtown Charlottesville condominium near dining, nightlife,
shopping, and cultural/historical attractions; and Riverbend
Condominiums, featuring spectacular views and still just a short
distance from downtown. We created attractive advertisements for radio,
newspapers, and magazines, concentrating on the condominiums' package
of prime location, luxury amenities, and a convenient lifestyle. We
placed them in local publications and the preferred media outlets of
our target audiences—including young adults and empty-nesters. We also
designed a family of appealing brochures, fliers, and property floor
plans, with a modern look and feel that echoes the condominiums'
design. And we helped plan and coordinate special events, enticing
realtors and buyers alike to take a look at these properties.

Even
as America's housing bubble began to burst, the advertising and media
relations campaign helped sell 64 percent of the available condominiums
in 18 months.
