The Fairfax County Department of Transportation is dedicated to improving air quality and reducing traffic congestion in a rapidly growing county.
Challenge
To minimize the negative impacts of expansion and support smart growth, the Department has developed strategies to promote the use of public transportation, commuter alternatives, and traffic and parking control. They needed effective ways to deliver information about these programs and services to county residents, visitors, and businesses.
Enter Reingold
To educate commuters about the Department's initiatives, Reingold designed and edited engaging and informative brochures and postcards to connect employers, developers, homeowner associations, partner organizations, citizens, and other groups with the array of programs and services the Department offers.
Results
In addition to producing 3,000 brochures and postcards, Reingold created electronic versions in PDF format for use in the Department's email communications.
