Connecting Military Families to Critical Financial Support
National Foundation for Credit Counseling
With Reingold’s support, The National Foundation for Credit Counseling expanded access to financial guidance for the military community through a highly targeted digital advertising campaign that generated 1.8 million impressions and 21,461 website visits. Most importantly, the work lowered NFCC’s cost of acquiring a new customer by 90%, from $550 to $50, enabling the organization to generate 10 times more military community customers at no additional cost.
The Mission
The National Foundation for Credit Counseling (NFCC) offers credit counseling for members of the military community. The Foundation sought to reach more service members and military families who needed financial guidance while maximizing the impact of their outreach budget.
NFCC partnered with Reingold to create a highly-targeted digital advertising campaign that improves their audiences’ access to their services.
The Approach
Reingold wielded our deep knowledge of the military community and expertise in online audience targeting to begin developing this campaign.
We updated NFCC’s military landing page – updating the hero image and bringing the call to action above the fold – to make it more effective at driving signups. We also developed web content to capture more organic search engine traffic from service members and veterans looking for help with financial issues. And by taking the time to set up and accurately track form submissions and phone calls from mobile devices, Reingold was able to understand who was converting and from what platform to optimize the campaign.
